Includes the study of Computer Technology Fundamentals including the systems required to initiate hardware solutions; maintain, troubleshoot and service computers; and participate in software implementation as well as computer programming. It also includes the development of industrial and commercial products and services, as well as health, safety and environmental systems. Includes the study of transportation from the point of view of personal transportation, mass transit systems, and the transportation of people and materials. Applicants must have one of the following combinations of postsecondary education and wage-earning experience to be admitted to the Bachelor of Education in Technological Education Program please note that 1 year of work experience equals hours :.

The CofQ, work experience, diploma, advanced diploma, or degree must be in the same BBT area that the individual will be qualified to teach. Applicants without the above listed combinations of postsecondary education and wage-earning experience, holding OSSD and minimum five years of wage-earning experience, including business or industrial experience, where the applicant used skills and knowledge in the area of the broad-based technological education subject selected by the applicant, may be considered for admission to the Technological Education program and will be eligible to receive a Certificate in Education.
