Enable intel turbo memory windows 7


















I downloaded this application and driver installation package directly from Intel. Its crazy the thing that shows me.

I have 2 GB intel turbo memeory on a pci express mini card full size not half. Which if you have a Hard drive with 8MB cache buffer. I get an extra hour of battery life easily. I rarely if ever see the the hard drive light blink anymore. Its the exact opposite of Vista in Vista it never stopped blinking, or blicked alot meaning disk activity. I am running W7 Home Premium bit. Ice Cold , Nov 21, Ok Ice cold, lucky you, with the 2GB version, but mine is 4GB and you can see that something is very wrong with the turbo memory Dashboard.

And I'm asking if somebody has got the 4GB turbo memory version and W7 x64 and the Dashboard working properly or dissapointing like me. And of course if he has the solution. Nope no 4GB here. I would have gone 4GB but that was really pricey.

I can't see getting any more perforamnce from 4GB than 2GB. Could be dfective memory chip, have waht ever manufacturer replace it, you will probably get a better model or revision. They have Lifetime warranties 3. Take it out restart run everything. Do a Firmware update, on your laptop. In Windows 7, don't disable Readyboost, prety sure Intel Turbo needs it or some other service down the line needs it. A clean, W7 bit reformat clean install likely will solve this.
